Lately, I’ve found myself craving smoothies. Not just the typical strawberry-banana smoothie, but a smoothie with a tropical blend that will make me feel like I’m lying on a beach somewhere. Unfortunately, I’ve had trouble finding quenching smoothies that won’t ruin my diet. Some smoothies are so high in calories that I might as well have a meal at McDonalds. Thanks to the internet, I’ve been able to find some low-calorie, guilt-free smoothie options that I can’t wait to try!

Kiwi-Cherry Delight
Kiwis are one of my favorite summer fruits, but I always make a mess trying to eat them. Anyone else? This smoothie will allow us kiwi-lovers to get our kiwi without the mess. Although, I’m interested to see how kiwi and cherry will taste together.

Ingredients:
3/4 cup of frozen cherries
1 kiwi, peeled and quartered
1/4 cup of orange juice
1/2 cup of coconut water
3/4 teaspoon of agave nectar
3 ice cubes
(1 serving, 159 calories)

Apple Refresher
With its combination of apple, peach, cucumber and lime, this smoothie will be nothing short of refreshing on a hot summer day.

Ingredients:
1/4 cup of unsweetened apple juice
1 medium peach, peeled, pitted and quartered
1/4 medium cucumber, peeled, seeded and quartered
1/3 cup of sparkling water
3/4 teaspoon of fresh lime juice
3 leaves of fresh mint
3/4 teaspoon of agave nectar
6 ice cubes
(1 serving, 107 calories)

Tropical Treat
Remember when I said I wanted a smoothie that would make me feel like I was on the beach? Well, this smoothie was exactly what I had in mind.

Ingredients:
3/4 cup of pineapple, cubed
1/2 cup of frozen mango
3/4 cup vanilla soymilk
3 tablespoons of low-fat cottage cheese
Top of smoothie with 1/4 tsp unsweetened coconut flakes
(1 serving, 221 calories)

Minty Watermelon
A nice slice of watermelon is my go-to summer treat, so I know this quick and easy, super low calorie smoothie will be my staple sweet for summer.

Ingredients:
2 cups of seedless watermelon
2 tablespoons fresh mint
1/3 cup of 2 percent plain Greek yogurt
(I serving, 98 calories)

Piña Colada: Pineapple Edition
Just when I thought there was nothing better then a regular piña colada, someone invented this tasty gem. This smoothie is the one I’m most excited to try!

Ingredients:
1/2 medium banana
1/4 cup of light coconut milk
1 cup of chopped fresh pineapple
1/4 cup of chilled pineapple juice
1/2 cup of crushed ice
(1 serving, 203 calories)

Note: All listed smoothie ingredients are equal to one serving size.
